ENDORSEMENTS

My main concerns, in order of importance:

1) The students - their cost and quality of education. Without the students, there is no NSHE.

2) Keeping the colleges open and allowing access to as many students as possible. Closing branches or rolling them over cuts off affordable education options to too many people.

3) The staff and faculty (and trying to keep them employed). We need instructors who care about what they're teaching, can do their job efficiently, and are an asset to our education system.

I say this so you will hopefully understand my thought process.

My current number of endorsements: 0

As of the date I publish this website, I have not a single one. (9/17/26) No businesses, no coalitions, no unions, trade associations...none. I haven't reached out to any of them.

My reason? I am trying to stay as impartial as possible. I don’t want to owe anyone anything, or even allow the perception that I might.

I’m not planning on running for any other office after this.

I just want to go in, fix as much as I can, and hope it sticks once the next person gets elected.

If any organization or person endorses me after posting this ... all "no strings" support and signal boosts are appreciated and welcomed!

FUNDRAISING

I’ve done zero fundraising.

Fundraising for a position that only pays $80 per meeting seems... just weird to me.

It’s a non-partisian position, so that means not taking any political party donations.

I'm not going to ask the students, because they're broke (for the most part.)

That leaves businesses. If business are going to spend funds, it should be to help start a new program, create a scholarship, subsidize daycare costs for students and faculty...not give it to me. If I can't get elected on my own, I don't deserve the position.

DONATIONS

I’m taking zero donations. Same reason. I know, I'm a broken record.

If you want to, trust me, I appreciate it so much. I just can't. Instead, tell someone else in your district about me, or send them a link to the site.
