This is proposal to help both the Film Office and the Entertainment Economy in Nevada as a whole.
Â
It's a relocation program for small studios and production companies, as well as entertainment professionals to fill currently understaffed roles.Â
This is a multipurpose education program. Although based in entertainment focused content, it also helps the NSHE schools make passive income while providing new certifications and degrees, helps students save money on tuition and works with the GOED to create new job training programs.Â
This is the part that makes it all work. Fans offers varying programs creating incubators for various entertainment genres as well as hand on, work force learning. Every program produces a new completed project at the end of every cycle, allowing students to obtain a certification they can include on their CVs, plus documentation and examples of their work to include in portfolios, sizzle reels, website galleries, etc.

It also allows for an expanded list of mentorships from industry professionals, internships, apprenticeships and work force training.Â
Â
These are the first three programs, in the order they would be launched.Â
HOWL - Hands On Workforce LearningÂ
Several people who have found themselves in the experiential field got their start just jumping in and working at some type of haunt. That is the first set up, allowing NSHE students and work force participants to join in on creating an original IP haunt that expands with an interlocking narrative.Â
EGG - The Experiential Gaming GroupÂ
Creating new forms of entertainment and education using concepts derived from the various game industries (apart from casino). The Launch project focuses on Nevada public K-12 education reinforcement through immersive exercises and application of knowledge.Â

Later phases include IR (Inter-reality) and tabletop.Â
The PIT Crew - Production Innovation and Technology

Live theater is currently suffering a large downturn world wide, not just across Nevada. Yet, Japanese 2.5D shows are hitting record numbers. What if we learned from their success and then pushed the possibilities further using technology that already exists in new ways? (No, not projection mapping.)
These proposed departments would all function as parts of the GOED and would work in tandem with other offices in this division.Â
The Film Office is already a part of the GOED.Â
This proposal is to help switch their focus from catering to a few large studios to smaller studios and independent productions.Â
