Did we go to high school together?Â
If you went to school in Nevada, no. You are probably thinking of my sister. We look alike and our names sound similar. People asked me during the primary all the time.Â
How many people helped you with this?Â
None. It's been just me for this whole thing. I have seven notebooks worth of stuff I didn't even mention here. If the legislation gets picked up, the program will probably last longer than I will.
(I take that back. I am asking one person to check the page over before I publish, just for any glaring errors or omissions. )
How did you make it past the primary?Â
Enough people voted for me.Â
Seriously, though...I just talked to people. Literally, anyone who would listen, we would have a discussion. I've had conversations getting my blood drawn, in the checkout line at the supermarket, pumping gas...and I didn't even know if the people I was talking to were even in my district. Regardless, I encouraged them to vote. You should too. At the very least, you get a cool sticker.Â
